Well made with good materials and even better stitching with a good quality zipper.
On the inside of the smaller pocket there are pencil/pen holders and there is plenty of room.

This is not a cover for a smaller field notebook but for a larger notebook as I learned on delivery but I can fit my field book in the small pocket and put all of my lesson notes and other documents inside the notebook area.
